The month of July is usually considered a slow month for movies and series releases and OTT platforms follow the same trend. However, we have seen some big name movies and shows making their debut this month. Just last week, Jeetendra Kumar starrer Jaadugar and comedy contest Comicstaan season 3 made its way to OTT platforms and this week again we have a couple of exciting movies and shows waiting for you. The biggest title to witness its OTT release is Telugu comedy blockbuster F3: Fun & Frustration which will be streaming on two different platforms simultaneously. F3: Fun & Frustration on Netflix and Sony Liv
The third installment of the famous Telugu-language comedy film is here to entertain viewers on OTT platforms after a successful theatrical run. The movie is a typical masala film that does not rely much on logic and plotline and instead focuses on pure entertainment. It is going to be one of those movies that you will either absolutely love or hate. But if you’re into wacky comedies, you should check it out. The movie stars Venkatesh, Varun Tej, Tamannaah, Mehreen Pirzada, Anjali, Rajendra Prasad, Sunil, Murali Sharma among others.
Indian Predator: The Butcher Of Delhi on Netflix
Following up after the success of House of Secrets: The Burari Deaths, Netflix is back again with another crime docu-series in Indian Predator. It is a 3-episode long mini series following the psychopathic serial killings of a deranged murderer who terrorized the city of Delhi. A thrilling cat-and-mouse chase between the police and the murderer, the show is sure to keep you hooked to your seats. The show casts Manjit Singh, Sanjay Bansal, Jitendra Sharma and others in lead roles.
Ghar Waapasi on Disney+ Hotstar
Hotstar is focusing heavily on various Indian series and its latest addition is Ghar Waapasi, a lighthearted comedy that revolves around a family where the head of the family loses his startup job and returns back to his family. The story follows his journey and the unexpected hilarious situations he ends up in. The series casts Vishal Vashishtha,Akanksha Thakur, Atul Shrivastava, Vibha Chibber, Saad Bilgrami and others in lead roles.
Agent Anand Santosh on Aha
This Telugu-language comedy mystery series relies heavily on its lead cast, Shanmukh Jaswanth, who is a social media influencer and Bigg Boss Telugu 5 finalist. Riding his social media fame, he will now play the lead protagonist who wants to become a private investigator. Join him and see if he will be able to solve a kidnapping case. The series also casts Vaishali Raj, Alankrita Shah, Prithvi Jakhaas in supporting roles.
Dr Arora – Gupt Rog Visheshagya on Sony Liv
On the surface this series might seem like a sex comedy hitting the low hanging fruit, but in reality it is much more than that. The show, although a lighthearted comedy, takes on the stigma attached with sexuality and tries to break them, one episode at a time. The show is created by Imtiaz Ali so his masterful creative direction has enriched the series. It stars Shakti Kumar, Neeraj Kashyap, Vidya Malvade, Kumud Mishra, Vivek Mushran and others.
