Neobank Winvesta gets seed funding from Speciale Invest, others
The new investors join existing advisers and investors—such as Umang Bedi of DailyHunt, Bahram Vakil of AZB & Partners, Rama Bijapurkar and former Revolut executive Andre Mohamed—at the company. The fresh capital will help the startup scale its operations, hire fresh as well bolster its tech-enabled platform.
Founded in 2019 by Swastik Nigam and Prateek Jain, UK-based Winvesta is a neobank that’s building cross-border banking and wealth management solutions. It enables Indians to open multi-currency accounts and invest globally. Its clients can save, invest and spend in over 30 currencies and manage their international finances in one place.

According to Nigam, Winvesta was started with the objective of simplifying overseas banking and investing for Indians. “Our client set is swiftly increasing as we’ve started serving not just individuals, but businesses, wealth managers and institutions as well,” he said. “This helps us lay the foundation for targeting the cross-border flow opportunity of over $700 billion for India and beyond. This investment is in the run-up to our pre-Series A round.”
