Neha Dhupia: At first Mehr looked exactly like me, now I feel she looks like Angad – Times of India

On Oct 3, Neha Dhupia was blessed with a baby boy. The actress says that her son has a glimpse of her father-in-law. A thought that even her husband Angad Bedi echoes. In an earlier chat with BT, Angad had said, “Each time I see him, I feel like I am looking at my dad’s miniature version — Little Bishan Singh Bedi!” But then there are times where the ardent mommy feels that the new born has a glimpse of her in him too. “What do I do, they keep changing! I see myself in the baby sometimes,” she says.

Neha, who got back to work soon after her delivery, feels that babies grow so fast that their looks keep changing. Something she sees in her daughter too. “When Mehr was born I felt she looks exactly like me, now she looks like Angad. But then there are those days when Angad braids her hair differently. Baal banaye toh she looks like me. Likewise, I would say there is a hint and glint of me in my son too. Some mornings he does look like me,” she opines.

At the time when Neha was going in for delivery, Angad had shared a video of that moment on his social media. Initially in two minds, Neha then felt that it was good that the video was shared as it showcased the strength of women. She elaborates saying, “I saw the video on social media after it was posted by him. I was a bit skeptical, but later I felt glad that he put it out. It showed what women go through at that moment. You are in pain, and it is your strength to yet feel strong and go through the entire process.”
