Neeyat: Neeyat first song Farebi will make you more curious about the real culprit of this Vidya Balan’s mystery thriller – Times of India

With each passing day the makers of Vidya Balan’s murder mystery film Neeyatare amping up the intrigue about the film. First it was the trailer and now it is the first song Farebi.The song speaks about the two sides of each character present in the house at the time of the murder. By the looks of it, this song summarizes the whole context of the film and would be playing in the background.The song is basically montage shots of the characters of the film. It has been sung by Lothika Jha, composed and produced by Mikey McCleary and lyrics by Kausar Munir.
Neeyat is Vidya Balan’s first theatrical film since the pandemic. She had three releases in the interim and all were direct-to-digital. They were Shakuntala Devi, Sherni and Jalsa.
In Neeyat, she plays a desi detective Meera Rao who is brought in to solve the murder of Ashish Kapoor and for her, every member present in the house is a suspect. The film boasts of a huge star cast in Rahul Bose, Neeraj Kabi, Shahana Goswami, Amrita Puri, Dipannita Sharma, Niki Walia, Shashank Arora, Prajakta Koli and Danesh Razvi. It’s co-written by Anu, Priya Venkataraman, Advaita Kala and Girvani Dhyani, with dialogues by Kausar Munir. It’s backed by Vikram Malhotra’s Abundantia Entertainment.
