Neetu Kapoor marked late Rishi Kapoor’s birth anniversary today with a priceless picture from her archives. The actress was seen posing with the late actor, seemingly at a party. While Rishi Kapoor sported oversized glasses, Neetu Kapoor was seen with a colourful feathered boa in the picture which she had simply captioned, “Happy birthday”. Her post was soon flooded with love from fans and industry friends.

Last year, Neetu Kapoor had penned an extensive note about her time with Rishi Kapoor in New York and shared, “I learnt a lot from Rishi Ji during our last few traumatic years in NYC .. how we celebrated when his blood counts were high .. we dined shopped laughed .. in his lows we just stayed home watched tv ordered in amazing food n still had some wonderful moments in hope that the next round of chemotherapy he would be better .. hope n being strong is what he taught me .. value each day .. we all miss him today !!!”

Rishi Kapoor passed away at the age of 67, on April 30, 2020. He had been battling cancer since 2018 and had undergone treatment for the same in New York. The veteran actor returned to India in 2019 and began work on ‘Sharmaji Namkeen’, which he couldn’t finish. Paresh Rawal had stepped in to complete the remaining portions of the movie.
