Neeraj Chopra wins internet over as video surfaces showing him touching feet of elderly man
A video has surfaced recently on Twitter in which the Javelin star can be seen meeting his fans, including some senior ones. The video shows Neeraj saying hello to everyone and taking pictures with fans. As he was in a hurry since there was a car waiting to pick him up, he shakes hands with fans and, in the end, touches the feet of an elderly man, showing respect to the senior.
The video stormed the internet in no time, with thousands of likes on Twitter. The internet praises the humility of the 24-year-old athlete, with some calling him down to earth, others calling him the real representative of India and showering blessings on him.

The star Javelin thrower recently participated in the world-renowned Stockholm Diamond League, an annual elite track and field athletic competition of selected fourteen-best invitational athletes. Neeraj Chopra has broken his national record in the competition by finishing second.
Neeraj grabbed a silver medal in the competition, and broke his own record by a meter, with his 89.94 meters throw. He missed the top position by a whisker to world champion Anderson Peters as the latter scored a 90.31-metre throw in the third round.
Chopra took part in the 2018 Commonwealth Games and the 2018 Asian Games. He served as the flag-bearer in the Asian Games and went on to win gold medals in both the games. Further, as a debutant at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, he brought gold medal to the country on August 7, 2021. With a throw of 87.58 metres in his second attempt he made history.
