Recently, in an interview to Hindustan Times, Neena, who had a daughter Masaba out of wedlock in 1989, spoke about parenting vis-à-vis her new movie
Vadh. The Jaspal Singh Sandhu and Rajeev Barnwal directed drama is the emotional story of a middle-class couple, played by Neena Gupta and Sanjay Mishra, who land in a financial mess after sending their son overseas.

Talking about parenting, the
Goodbye actor said that when it comes to one’s kids, parents sometimes take the wrong decision under emotions and unparalleled love, that eventually costs them in the long run. Recalling an incident about the same, Neena said that once she had advised a friend not to transfer her house to her son till she was alive, but she did that anyway and was later thrown out at a point when she was sick and needed support.

Talking on movies, Neena Gupta, who was last seen in
Uunchai shared that at this stage of her career, she does not care if character is black, white or grey, only that her role should be meaty and powerful.
