NBA star Bryn Forbes ‘gave his ex-porn star girlfriend Elsa Jean two black eyes,’ source claims

Bryn Forbes, an NBA free agent, left his fiancee Elsa Jean with two black eyes, a source exclusively revealed to DailyMail.com, after the police report said she was allegedly hit several times.

Forbes, who was released last week by the Minnesota Timberwolves, was arrested in the early hours of Wednesday morning on suspicion of assault with bodily injury, a misdemeanor, after a verbal argument with Jean, a former renowned porn actress, turned physical. 

‘This was the first time he ever abused her, but once was enough,’ a source close to the 26-year-old exclusively told DailyMail.com. ‘Her entire body is bruised up and she has two black eyes. He hit her so many times and it was so terrifying for her.’

The police report from February 15 states Jean ‘was allegedly struck several times, causing injury and pain’ and required medical attention.

Forbes, who was waived by the Minnesota Timberwolves after last week’s NBA trade deadline, was reportedly supposed to be traded in one week’s time but has ‘royally f***ed up his career’ with that deal now ‘off the table’, the source revealed.

The 29-year-old father of two allegedly felt threatened by Jean’s success after her Only Fans account took off and the launch of her podcast, Heartbreakers, which she co-hosts with her friend and manager, James Maas.

‘Elsa stopped doing porn prior to meeting him and has become incredibly successful on her own during their relationship,’ the source said. 

‘She is a top Only Fans creator, and she recently launched her own Heartbreakers podcast. She is launching her own clothing line. Bryn felt threatened by her success and wanted to be the only successful one in their relationship.’ 

Jean and Forbes were engaged and had been living together for one year when the incident occurred on Valentine’s Day, the source confirmed. 

Following the altercation, Jean has ‘broken off the engagement’ but is unsure if she will press charges. 

‘She is just so upset, and she is shocked that someone she loved so much did this to her,’ the source told DailyMail.com. ‘She is done with him, and she is unsure if she is going to press charges or not. Right now, she is focusing on healing and getting through this one day at a time.

‘Elsa really hopes that he gets the help he needs and is going to pick up her belongings tomorrow.’

Forbes was arrested at 5am on Wednesday at a residence in north-central San Antonio. He was taken to the Bexar County Jail, and released on bail for $2,500 with the arraignment set for March 20.

According to a police report, Forbes had an argument with Jean before striking her several times after the couple arrived home from La Cantera Resort & Spa. 

The San Antonio Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services responded to assist Jean. 

The case remains under investigation, according to San Antonio Police.

Forbes played seven seasons in the NBA after going undrafted in 2016. He played at Cleveland State and Michigan State before the NBA.

Forbes signed as a free agent and played his first four seasons with the San Antonio Spurs. He joined the Milwaukee Bucks as a free agent in 2021 but returned to the Spurs just a year later before being traded to the Denver Nuggets midway through that season. 

Forbes signed with Minnesota in July, but the Timberwolves waived him last week to clear a roster spot after acquiring Mike Conley Jr. and Nickeil Alexander-Walker in a trade that sent D’Angelo Russell to the Los Angeles Lakers. 

The former item were set up by Kylie Jenner’s ex-best friend Jordyn Woods, who’s currently dating Timberwolves star and now Forbes’ ex-teammate Karl-Anthony Towns.
