NBA best bets today (Predictions for Jayson Tatum, Mikal Bridges and moneyline parlay)

It’s not a prop night on Friday, but I’m focusing on the Boston Celtics’ matchup with the Phoenix Suns for each play on Friday.

We still have another matchup involved, but there is a ton of prop value in this matchup, so why not bet it?

It’s been an up and down week, so let’s head into the weekend on a high note:

NBA best bets record to date

NBA best bets today

  • Mikal Bridges OVER 25.5 Points, Rebounds and Assists (-115)
  • Jayson Tatum OVER 13.5 Rebounds and Assists (-125)
  • Boston Celtics-Minnesota Timberwolves Moneyline Parlay (-112)

Mikal Bridges OVER 25.5 Points, Rebounds and Assists (-115)

Are we seeing a different level of Mikal Bridges with Devin Booker out of the lineup? It sure seems like it these last 10 games.

Over his last 10 games, Bridges has picked up the slack on offesne, averaging 23.0 points, 3.4 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game. That’s over 31 PRA per contest, and he’s cleared 25. PRA in eight of his last 10 games.

Bridges is averaging 16.9 points, 4.4 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game this season, putting him right around the 25.5 mark.

As long as he keeps seeing increased usage (17.2 shots per game over his last 10), Bridges is a great bet to go OVER this number.

Jayson Tatum OVER 13.5 Rebounds and Assists (-125)

I’m going back to the well with this Jayson Tatum prop after he missed it on Wednesday night against the Brooklyn Nets.

It wasn’t Tatum’s fault, as the Celtics rested him the entire fourth quarter in a blowout win, and he finished with exactly 13 rebounds and assists.

Even with that miss, the Celtics star has cleared 13.5 rebounds and assists in nine of his last 11 games, and he’s averaging 10.9 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game over that stretch.

With Marcus Smart out of the lineup, Tatum should have a bigger role playmaking tonight, and he’s been dominant on the glass. 13.5 is still too low for me not to bet it.

Boston Celtics-Minnesota Timberwolves Moneyline Parlay (-112)

Boston Celtics Moneyline

This is a great matchup for Boston, who already beat the Suns by 27 points in Phoenix this season when Devin Booker was playing.

Now, the Celtics have Al Horford and Robert Williams III (who missed that game) in the lineup, though they are missing Marcus Smart.

Boston is one of the best home teams in the NBA, going 20-6 at TD Garden this season. I don’t think Phoenix has the offensive firepower to keep up with a Celtics team that is top four in offensive and defensive rating this season.

Minnesota Timberwolves Moneyline

I love the surging Minnesota Timberwolves tonight, mainly because the Orlando Magic are awful on the road.

Orlando drops to 29th in the league in offensive rating on the road, and the Magic are just 7-19 straight up in those games.

Minnesota has been hot as of late, winning five of its last six games as home to improve to 19-11 there this season.

I’ll play it safe and take the Wolves moneyline tonight to get this parlay around even money.

Game odds refresh periodically and are subject to change.
