Nani, Sai Pallavi and Krithi Shetty’s ‘Shyam Singha Roy’ to stream on OTT – Times of India
Shyam Singha Roy is a multi-timeline drama that switches between 70s-era Bengal and contemporary Hyderabad. The film marks filmmaker Rahul Sankrityan’s second directorial venture. Nani played a dual role, Shyam Singha Roy (A social reformer) and Vasudev Ghanta (A short filmmaker) in the film. Sai Pallavi essays a Devasai named Maithreyi.
The film also stars Krithi Shetty, Madonna Sebastian, Jisshu Sengupta, Murali Sharma, Abhinav Gomatam, Manish Wadhwa, Leela Samson and Subhalekha Sudhakar in key roles. Bankrolled by Venkat Boyanapalli’s Niharika Entertainment, the film has Sanu John Varghese on board as the cinematographer. The songs of ‘Shyam Singha Roy,’ which are composed by Mickey J Meyer, have emerged as chartbusters. Navin Nooli edited the flick.
Nani will be next seen in ‘Ante Sundaraniki’, which is set to go on floors soon. Later in 2022, he will begin filming his next movie ‘Dasara’. ‘Ante Sundaraniki’ will be helmed by Vivek Athreya and produced by Mythri Movie Makers. The film marks the debut of Nazriya Nazim in Tollywood. Harsha Vardhan, Suhas, Nadhiya and Rahul Ramakrishna are also part of the cast. The technical crew comprises Niketh Bommireddy as the cinematographer and Vivek Sagar as the music composer. Ravi Teja Girijala is on board as the editor.
