Journalists who cover Hollywood news across the globe are made members of the HFPA and are allowed to vote for the nominees at the Golden Globe Awards.
How can one become a member of the HFPA?
Every year the HFPA invites new members, who are journalists covering entertainment news for recognized journalistic organizations. Eight examples of their journalistic work along with evidence of payment for their work and one letter of recommendation from a professional active in the journalism industry are needed to apply to become a member.
