Motorola Edge 40 is here. The Chinese smartphone maker has expanded its Edge series of smartphones with the launch of Motorola Edge 40. The 5G-enabled Motorola smartphone supports 14 5G bands. The premium smartphone features an ultra-thin metal frame and curved vegan leather matte back.
Price and availability
Motorola Edge 40 comes with a price tag of Rs 29,999 and it comes in Nebula Green and Lunar Blue with a vegan leather back colour options. The smartphone is available for pre-order on Flipkart and it will go on sale starting May 30. Customers can also purchase the smartphone from online Motorola stores and authorised retail stores in the country.

The smartphone boasts a 6.55-inch FHD+ pOLED display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The smartphone comes with 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 1200 nits. Powering this device is the formidable octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8020 chipset, accompanied by 8GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage. Operating on the Android 13 operating system, it also supports dual SIM card functionality.
When it comes to photography, the Motorola Edge 40 features a dual rear camera setup. It features a 50MP primary sensor with f/1.4 aperture, alongside a 13MP ultra-wide angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. On the front, you’ll find a 32MP selfie shooter with an f/2.4 aperture.
The device features stereo speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos. Additionally, it comes equipped with three microphones for enhanced audio capture. With an IP68 rating, this smartphone is water and dust-resistant.
The Motorola Edge 40 packs a 4600 mAh battery and supports 68W TurboFast charging. Additionally, it supports 15W wireless charging for added convenience, and even offers 5W reverse wireless charging capability to charge other compatible devices wirelessly.
