Motorola has confirmed the launch event for the Chinese market today. However, the company hasn’t officially announced the products that will be unveiled at the event. The information about the event’s live feed also remains unknown. We will update the post as soon as we get more details.
Moto X40 launch: What to expect
The company has already confirmed a few key specs of the upcoming phone. However, some of them remain mere speculations. Moto X40 is expected to sport a 6.67-inch OLED display with curved edges, that will offer a Full HD+ screen resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Motorola has already confirmed that the device will come powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 flagship processor.
Moto X40 is rumoured to pack up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. For photography, the device may house a triple rear camera setup that will support 4x optical zoom and include — a 50MP primary unit, a 50MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 2MP macro shooter.
The handset is also expected to support an under-display fingerprint sensor and may arrive with IP68 water and dust-resistant rating. Moto X40 may ship in two different battery models — a 4,500mAh battery unit that supports 68W fast charging and a 5,000mAh battery unit that supports 125W fast charging. The device is likely to run My UI 5.0 based on the Android 13 operating system out-of-the-box.
