“Mothers Are Mothers”: Womans Tweet On A Friend Bringing Tiffin Is Oh-So-Relatable
We all have thrown tantrums when it comes to eating home-cooked food. And, most of us find it utterly boring in front the decadent fast food spread. And, the darling mothers have been after our lives, but little do we listen. It comes full circle only when we relocate for study or work purposes, and realise the importance of ghar ka khana. Hope you could relate to this. We don’t know about you but a woman learned this lesson and made it a point to share it on Twitter. All we can say is that her post made us miss mummy ke hath ka khana. The woman, who goes by the name Shruberry on Twitter, has shared her ordeal with hostel food.
In a long note, the woman explained how her friend’s mother has been sending home-cooked food after she complained about the hostel meal. “Been complaining about mess food to a friend and he told his mom. So his mom has been sending me food almost every day.”

And, when the lunch boxes became a routine, “Shruberry” refused to accept it as she didn’t have time to cook and return the tiffin boxes. She wrote, “I said, I couldn’t accept it anymore because I don’t have time to make anything and return the tiffins and now she sends these little notes. Humans are top tier.”
She has also attached pictures of the hand-written notes. One of the notes read, “Dear, enjoy the food. Children should not bother about sending empty tiffins to mothers. You can send your love and affection with the tiffin that is more than enough. God bless you.”

Such a sweet gesture.
I do send similar notes to my little one too in his lunch box, in the hope that those make him smile and think of me/family when he is in a different set up.— VT (@vaaniverse) July 7, 2022
