Mohnish Bahl reacts to wall collapse at his Mumbra farmhouse amid heavy rains – Times of India

As heavy rains lashed the city all through the past week, actor Mohnish Bahl’s farmhouse faced the brunt of the extreme weather. The actor inherited this lavish holiday home, which is located in the scenic Parshik Hills in Mumbra.
Last week, a portion of the farmhouse collapsed after heavy rains lashed Maharashtra. The actor, when asked about the wall collapse. confirmed to ETimes, “Unfortunately yes, but I am not sure as yet of the extent of damage. Fortunately, no one was hurt.” Mohnish is yet to visit the location. He further added, “Engineers have visited the site and I will be discussing with them and the corporation on the further course of action. I am trying to implement the repair work from Monday onwards.” A balcony and a portion of the bungalow collapsed and the debris was cleared soon. Officials have confirmed that the property was unoccupied.
Back in 2013, Mohnish had sold nearly 30 acres of the property to a real estate developer, while retaining the bungalow plot. He had then told TOI, “I have a lot of childhood memories attached to the bungalow. Also, the bungalow has a unique design similar to that of a ship with its funnel extending out. I am going to retain it and have requested the TMC to consider my request.”
Mohnish Bahl’s last big screen appearance was Ashutosh Gowariker helmed ‘Panipat’, which released in in 2019.
