Mohanlal reportedly said in an interview with an online media channel that he doesn’t think ‘Randamoozham’ would be happening as the Covid situation has affected the planning phase of the epic project. Mohanlal reportedly said that when ‘Randamoozham’ was first announced everyone got excited and it was almost ready to happen, suddenly everything got toppled due to the pandemic, and also there were other controversies regarding the project.

For the unversed, ‘Randamoozham’ is a famous novel written by the veteran Malayalam writer MT Vasudevan Nair and the ‘Odiyan’ director VA Shrikumar first planned to visualize the book into a movie with Mohanlal reportedly playing the central character Bheema. Director Hariharan was also said to be in talks with helming the project and later due to some issues ‘Randamoozham’ was dropped. There were also talks among netizens that MT Vasudevan Nair was not willing to give the script to Shrikumar Menon. For over years there were no updates on ‘Randamoozham’ and now that Mohanlal himself reportedly announced that ‘Randamoozham’ won’t be happening, the fans are literally disappointed.

Later in the interview, Mohanlal opened up about his relationship with Sreenivasan and said that he felt sad to see the actor’s current health condition and also said that he used to enquire about Sreenivasan’s health with his family.
