Umpire Jeff Nelson ejected Minnesota Twins umpire Rocco Baldelli after some controversial strike calls. Then, Aaron Judge hit a game-tying home run.

Nelson has been doing this for a long time, so he’s surely used to receiving the vitriol of opposing fans on social media, even if that is considered new school.

In Monday’s Twin-Yankees matinee, Minnesota manager Rocco Baldelli was ejected after Nelson aided New York in putting several runners on base with some…curious strike calls.

Because this is the Twins, who only exist as a Yankees punching bag, Judge tied the game a mere moments later.

This is my shocked face.

Do the Yankees get more calls than other teams? Surely, no. That’s an overreaction, and over the course of any entire season, simply can not be calculated. Umpires suck for every MLB team. The Yankees are no different.
