Michael Vaughan invites Rory Burns to his fielding academy after dropping Rohit Sharma, fans say he will drop that too

Team India openers Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul batted well and had some luck by their side in the final session on Day 2 of the fourth Test at the Oval against England as they had 70 minutes to negotiate before the end of the second day’s play.

While both Rohit and Rahul left the balls that were moving off the surface and played the ones on their merit but both of them got their chances. Rohit was dropped in the slips by the England opener Rory Burns, who was looking towards the third slip fielder as the ball was going between the second and the third slip. However, the ball went straight to Burns’ throat and hit his right leg before going towards the boundary and Burns stopped it.

Rahul, on the other hand, chopped one delivery near the stumps as the ball after hitting the bat just missed the stumps by the barest of margins.

Rohit’s share of luck continued on Day 3 as well as he was dropped in the slips again and for the second time, it was Burns the culprit.

Former England captain Michael Vaughan trolled Burns saying he will send an invitation to Burns of his fielding academy referring to his playing days as he wasn’t considered a good fielder and had dropped many catches.
