The Los Angeles Rams are reportedly in talks to trade All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey to Miami.
In what can be described as nothing other than a blockbuster trade, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport is reporting the Dolphins and Rams are discussing a deal.
‘Source: The #Rams are in talks to trade All-Pro CB Jalen Ramsey to the #Dolphins. A blockbuster,’ Rapoport tweeted Sunday afternoon.
Ramsey has seemed to all but confirm the trade to South Beach in a series of not-so cryptic tweets prior to, and after, Rapoport’s report.
‘God is so AMAZING! OHMYGOD!,’ Ramsey tweeted before news emerged of the potentially league-changing acquisition.
He followed it up with; ‘Can’t ever tell me prayer don’t work! Y’all have a blessed & happy Sunday! Ikno I am!’
NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe reported that while the deal is not yet agreed upon, Ramsey believes he will have a new home.
‘In midst of contract tweak discussions as of now but Jalen Ramsey expects to be a Dolphin.’
If Ramsey is to be finished in Los Angeles, it has been some career with the NFC West franchise.
Ramsey won his first Super Bowl title as the Rams defeated Cincinnati in Super Bowl LVI.
