‘Mastaaru Mastaaru’: First single from Dhanush, Samyuktha Menon’s ‘SIR’ out – Times of India
Set in the rural backdrop, the song is about Samyuktha Menon expressing her feelings on Dhanush. Shweta Mohan’s ever-sweet vocals give us the much-needed emotional push. Ramajogayya Sastry’s lyrics deserve a special mention. Dhanush and Samyuktha Menon’s sparkling chemistry makes this song appealing visually too. Venky Atluri has a good taste in music and the first song of SIR is an instant hit.
Directed by Venky Atluri, the film is about making quality education accessible to the poor. Actor Dhanush plays Bala Gangadhar Tilak, a junior lecturer in Tripathi Educational Institute in the film. Apart from Dhanush and Samyuktha Menon, the film also features Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, Samuthirakani, Thotapalli Madhu, Narra Srinivas, Pammi Sai, Hyper Aadhi, Shara, Aadukalam Naren, Ilavarasu, Motta Rajendran, Hareesh Peradi and Praveena among others.

The film’s technical crew comprises cinematographer J Yuvraj, National Award Winning editor Navin Nooli. GV Prakash Kumar is on board as the music director. Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani and Narra Srinivas too essay supporting roles. J Yuvraj cranks the camera. Naveen Nooli and Avinash Kolla takes care of editing and production design respectively.
