Manoj Patil and athletes question Oshiwara police: Why Sahil Khan has not been arrested yet? – Times of India

Manoj Patil attempted to end his life last week and had blamed Bollywood actor Sahil Khan for harassing him. After recovering from the hospital, Manoj visited Oshiwara police station with several other body builders on Friday. He met the cops and inquired about Sahil Khan’s arrest, who is facing an FIR in the case.

Giving an update to the media outside the police station, Manoj Patil revealed, “Sahil Khan’s anticipatory bail has been rejected. He has been running from the police while he keeps saying ‘Satyameva Jayate’. I don’t understand why he is absconding.” The fitness enthusiast revealed how he has received a lot of support from fellow body builders who had accompanied him to the police station. “We belong to common families and he has been harassing and abusing all these body builders. We only want justice and have complete faith in the judiciary. We have been told that in two days, they will issue an arrest warrant against Sahil Khan and arrest him.” Sahil Khan on his part stated Manoj Patil had sold expired steroids to a person and that he was only supporting the victim in the racket and that his named was being dragged into the controversy for ulterior motives. Reacting to the same, Manoj Patil claimed, “All the proofs have been submitted and his anticipatory bail has also been cancelled. He should surrender and not run from the police.”

Speaking about the matter, Sahil Khan had previously told ETimes, “I have had no direct association with Manoj, I have not had any transaction with him either. People are dying in the gym, getting heart attacks by consuming steroids and amps. A drug mafia that is operating freely. People are not discussing or focusing on that, instead talking about Manoj Patil trying to kill himself.”
