Manoj Bajpayee admits Vijay Varma’s role in Dahaad made him jealous, reveals he is a big fan of Govinda movies | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Actor Manoj Bajpayee, despite his popularity and enormous talent, prefers to keep a low profile, only talking about work when needed. The 54-year-old, in a recent interview with a leading entertainment portal, opened up on his innings…

When quizzed on that one film that shaped him as an actor, Manoj replied that it was Zanjeer. He said that no other film can match what Zanjeer did to his then young mind.

He also went gaga overAmitabh Bachchan’s role in the movie and said that inspite of the fact that the veteran actor was brilliant in the movie, he did not watch it the second time around, as he didn’t want the mystery and nostalgia to be ruined.
He further said that in the current scenario, he felt ‘jealous’ when he saw Vijay Varma in Dahaad and wished that the role was offered to him instead. However, he also added that if Vijay hears him say this, he will instantly tell him, ‘sir, you already have so many projects in your kitty.’
Manoj also revealed that he is a big fan of Govinda movies and considers them as his guilty pleasure. He went on to say that he has worked with Govinda in Money Hai Toh Honey Hai and learnt a lot from his co-actor.

Manoj, who entered the OTT space in 2019 with his hugely acclaimed web series The Family Man, is now set to return with the third season of the show, reportedly based on terrorism in North East India.
