Premier League Boxing Day fixtures are in full swing and top of the table Manchester takes on a reeling Leicester side at Etihad Stadium.
One of the most beautiful days in the Premier League has arrived as it’s Boxing Day with the holiday in the rearview. And one of the high-profile matches on the slate that’s still on amid growing COVID-19 concerns throughout the table is Manchester City hosting Leicester City at Etihad Stadium.
Based on the entirety of the season to this point, this should be a great match between Man City and Leicester but the latter is starting to feel the pain of a grueling campaign and could limp into this fixture a bit shorthanded.
Still, it will be interesting to see how both sides perform on the big stage and we have all you need to keep track of for Sunday’s match.

Sitting atop the Premier League table, City come into this Boxing Day fixture with wins in four of their last five matches overall. Kyle Walker is the only concern in terms of availability. However, it will be interesting to see if manager Pep Guardiola looks to keep Raheem Sterling as a part of the starting XI.
Leicester team news
To say that a Leicester side currently sitting ninth in the table is banged up is a bit of an understatement. With several key players already out due to injuries, they have three out with COVID-19 concerns as well and saw the likes of Jamie Vardy and Ricardo Pereira look less than 100 percent coming out of their Carabao Cup match.
Manchester City vs. Leicester prediction
With the concerns about the depth for the visiting side and the way that Manchester City has played this season on the whole, this is shaping up to be a Boxing Day rout at the Etihad. Seeing City hold their opponents scoreless should honestly be the expectation at this point while they pour it own with their own attack.
