Manchester United are reportedly willing to bid as much as £105m for Eintracht Frankfurt’s Randal Kolo Muani this summer.
The forward catapulted himself to global stardom with a series of impressive performances for France at the World Cup in Qatar, underlining his status as one of Europe’s most exciting forwards.
The Old Trafford outfit are reported to be rivalling Paris Saint-Germain for his signature, with both looking to restructure their forward lines this summer.
According to Bild, a German publication, United are willing to bid as much as £105m to land the Frenchman.

The Frankfurt star has been one of their most impressive performers this campaign
Despite being something of a left-field pick for the World Cup, he rose to the challenge
While PSG are interested in bringing him back to France, it is reported that United are lining up the first bid for the player. It is believed Frankfurt will entertain offers close to the £90m mark.
The German club, who won last year’s Europa League, signed the forward on a free transfer last summer from Ligue 1 outfit Nantes.
He has hit the ground running in the Bundesliga, having scored 11 times and assisted a further 12 goals. His impressive performances prior to the World Cup in Qatar ensured he made a late dart for the squad.
At the World Cup itself, he had to bide his time for opportunities but when granted, he delivered for Didier Deschamps.
With Morocco coming onto them in the semi-final, he scored within seconds of being introduced to put the game beyond the African side.
Meanwhile, 2-0 down and struggling against Argentina, Deschamps threw on Muani who changed the game with his pace and incisiveness. He won the penalty that allowed them a foothold back into the game, while his general play stretched Argentina.
Muani, amid the success of his campaign so far, has experienced tough moments this season – not least in that World Cup final where he missed a glorious opportunity to win the game in the depths of extra-time.
Put through, he only had Emi Martinez to beat but could not find a way beyond the goalkeeper.
Introduced for Ousmane Dembele before the break – he changed the game with his pace
He spoke of his heartache at having missed a presentable chance late on in the final
Speaking to beIN sports last month, he revealed that the miss still sticks in his throat and it is something, he said, that will be with him for the rest of his life.
‘I still watch it, I know it off by heart,’ he said. ‘In my head, I said to myself – Randal, you have to shoot now. I tried to shoot towards the near post but the goalkeeper made a very good save. But there were other options.
‘I could have lobbed him, or find Kylian Mbappe [who was free on the left]. But in the moment, I didn’t see him. It’s only when you watch back that you discover the other options. It’s too late. It still sticks in my throat and it’ll be there for life.’
He was sent off last month playing for Frankfurt in the Champions League against Napoli, meaning he will miss the return leg in Naples on Wednesday night.
