Malaika Arora Enjoys Mighty Spread Of Home-Cooked Food, Courtesy This Friend
No matter how much we love to eat outside, let’s admit that the satisfaction of home-cooked food is unmatchable. It is not only the simplicity of the taste that wins us over but also the comforting feeling we get from it. And if you love to cook, working in the kitchen can be therapy for you, right? We are no strangers to Bollywood diva Malaika Arora’s love for food. The actress often posts myriad foods on her social media. From khichdi, biryani to yummy sandwiches, home-cooked delights occupy an important spot on her Instagram. But there are days when she just doesn’t wanna cook. Relatable?
Don’t know about you but Malaika has friends who can treat her to a lavish home-cooked meal. The actress shared a photo of a huge and lavish spread of food which included dhokla, bhindi (okra), aloo matar, dahi bhalla, a bowl of what looked like coconut chutney as well as a range of other delicacies. The meal also featured green chutney, sonth ki chutney, pickles and some piping hot puris. The mouth-watering spread was prepared by Malaika’s good friend Delnaz Daruwala.

Malaika Arora has a soft spot for home-cooked meals. The actress loves to don the chef’s hat and cook a storm in the kitchen. Giving us a glimpse of her in-house culinary adventures, she once posted a photo of her desi indulgence and accompanied it with a formula behind her happiness. “Sattu paratha + dahi (curd) + garlic pickle + aloo sabji + salad = happiness,” Malaika captioned her meal, along with the hashtag “homemade”. After borrowing the recipe from her friend Delnaz Daruwala, Malaika cooked two wonderful dishes, a plate of tantalising fried rice, with a fried egg layered on top and garnished with spring onions. The second dish was a bowl of gravy Manchurian, which was topped with chopped red chillies and spring onions. Both the dishes looked scrumptious.
