In conversation, Mahesh Manjrekar said, “I never thought that we will do a sequel of ‘De Dhahha’. When producers asked me about the sequel of ‘De Dhahha’, I thought about it and things went accordingly. The film revolves around the Jadhav family and their crazy ride to England”

Manjrekar added: “I think writing a comedy film is the most difficult task. It is not easy to make people laugh. We have given our effort and hope that the audience will love it”

Meanwhile, Mahesh Manjrekar is also gearing up for his upcoming biopic titled ‘Swatantra Veer Savarkar’.

Talking about the film, the actor said: I think Savarkar’s story needs to be told. One man in the history of India’s independence whose story needs to be told. What he was or What he did, nobody knows about him. There is a lot of misconception which has to be cleared.”
