Former Real Madrid defender Ramos and the capital city club’s current centre back Rudiger squared up against each other during Real Madrid’s 1-1 draw at Sevilla in the La Liga on Saturday.
The La Liga game between Sevilla and Real Madrid on Sunday ended 1-1 as the Spanish sides shared the points on offer in their top-flight encounter at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.
An own goal from David Alaba in the 74th minute gave the home side the lead, but the advantage did not last for long as Dani Carvajal got the Madrid giants back on level terms in the 78th minute.

The was also highlighted by the return of Sergio Ramos to face his beloved Real Madrid for the first time since his exit from the capital city club a couple of years back.
Ramos, considered a Madrid legend by hordes of Madridistas, is known to be an imposing figure as he has built up a menacing image throughout his illustrious career.
However, Real Madrid defender Antonio Rudiger, who has somewhat taken Ramos’ place at the heart of the Madrid defence, did not back down from a confrontation as he was seen squaring up to the former Real Madrid stalwart.
The draw took Real Madrid to 25 points from 10 games in the ongoing La Liga campaign as the capital city club top the domestic league rankings.
They have secured eight wins while drawing and losing one game each thus far in the season.

Their next La Liga assignment would be against their long-term rival, Barcelona, as two of Spain’s biggest clubs gear up for yet another exciting edition of the famous El Clasico.
Sevilla on the other hand, climbed to the 13th position on the table thanks to the point they managed to salvage against the Madrid giants and have nine points this season from as many games.

Sevilla have done well to clear the relegation zone after a horrendous start to the season. They are scheduled to take on Cadiz next in their Spanish domestic season.
