Madhuri Dixit starrer ‘The Fame Game’ season 2 cancelled: Report – Times of India
Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Kapoor were to begin shooting for ‘The Fame Game’ season 2 this year but the streaming platform has called off the plan. A source informed Bollywood Hungama that Netflix has dropped the sequel from its official catalogue, thus cancelled the sequel. The reason for it is not known, but if the streaming giant is unhappy with the content then the team of ‘The Fame Game’ season 2 may rework the same and the show could be revived.
Speaking about her debut show, Madhuri had previously shared, “I think, one never really gets tired of playing different characters. I love to get into the skin of every character I play. And it’s always exciting when you get a role, which has a gamut of emotions to deal with. You know, one that has ups and downs in their life because it’s such characters that challenge you to do better, rise above, and keep you on your toes.” ‘The Fame Game’ was produced by Karan Johar and also starred Manav Kaul, Suhasini Muley, Lakshvir Saran, Muskkaan Jaferi and Rajshri Deshpande in pivotal roles.
