In the picture, Madhuri and Saroj are all smiles for the camera as they strike a pose together. She captioned the lovely picture, ‘#MajorMissing’.

Saroj Khan passed away on July 3 last year due to cardiac arrest at the age of 71. Fondly known as ‘Masterji’ in the industry, Saroj Khan has worked with all the top actresses in Bollywood. However, it was Madhuri Dixit, who became Saroj Khan’s favourite student with her sheer hard-work. Saroj ji played a major role in Madhuri’s career as well.

Even Madhuri has time and again stated how she learnt a lot from the late choreographer, right from her expressions, movements, finesse, looking presentable in front of the camera, and dancing skills. On Kapil Sharma’s chat show, the actress had called Saroj Khan an embodiment of female empowerment and added that when Saroj started her career she established herself as ‘masterji’ in the film industry at a time when it was dominated by male choreographers.

The duo teamed up on several occasions and gave the audience iconic songs like ‘Ek Do Teen’ to ‘Dola Re Dola’ and most recently ‘Tabaah Ho Gaye’.

On the work front, Madhuri will be seen making her debut on the digital space with her upcoming web series, ‘Finding Anamika’.
