Kylian Mbappe and Paris Saint-Germain paid tribute to Sergio Rico during their final game of the season.
PSG, who had already been crowned Ligue 1 champions, finished their season with a 3-2 defeat against Clermont Foot.
After scoring a penalty in the 21st minute, Mbappe celebrated his goal by holding up a shirt with Rico’s name and the number 16.
Rico is in a stable condition but remains in intensive care after suffering serious head injuries during a horse riding accident.
The 29-year-old was making a horseback pilgrimage to Huelva in Spain when he was knocked off the animal.

Rico was transported to the Virgen del Rocio University Hospital in Seville.
Mundo Deportivo reported that Rico remains in the intensive care unit and is in a ‘situation of clinical stability within the severity of his injuries’ four days after being admitted.
Rico is sedated and being continuously monitored by doctors and specialists.
Ahead of the game against Clermont Foot, the PSG players warmed up wearing a special shirt that included an image of Rico.
PSG also wore their new home kit, with each player having Rico’s name on the back.
In addition, PSG cancelled their Ligue 1 trophy celebrations out of respect for Rico.

On Tuesday Rico’s wife Alba Silva wrote on Instagram: ‘Don’t leave me alone, my love, because I swear I cannot. I don’t know how to live without you. We love you a lot.’
Rico started his career at Sevilla, with whom he won the Europa League twice, and had a loan spell at Fulham in the 2018-19 season. He joined PSG on loan for the following campaign before making the switch permanent.
He has played 24 times for PSG in total and also spent time on loan at Mallorca.
Rico has one cap for Spain, which came against South Korea in 2016.
