Kubbra Sait reveals she was told Bollywood is the worst place; says people told her the industry is ‘full of demons, monsters’ – Times of India

Kubbra Sait recently opened up about her early days in the industry when she was told that Bollywood is the worst place to work in and the industry is full of demons and monsters.

Spilling some beans on the same, the actress told a news portal that when she came to this industry, she was told that this is the worst place to be in and that she should just pack off and go. However, the actress added that now when she looks back at it, Kubbra feels she could not have been in a more noble profession. It lets you tell stories and live other people’s lives. According to her, it is the most empathetic place you can be in. And people recognise you for that, for the experience you are having.

Elaborating further, the actress added that she was told that this place is full of monsters and demons and that she should not come but Kubbra always looked at it as the city of dreams. She also added that if it does or has turned into a nightmare for you, then the first thing you need to do is reflect upon your journey. According to her, a large part of forgiveness comes into it. It’s not for anyone else but yourself. That’s the most important because perpetrators will do what perpetrators do. If we are above them, we still have a chance to fight them.

Kubbra recently made her debut as an author as she penned her memoir titled ‘Open Book’. It was released on June 27.
