For the unversed, Adipurush is a movie based on the Hindu epic, Ramayan. It is directed by Om Raut and was originally supposed to release in January 2023. However, it was postponed to June 16, 2023, due to post-production difficulties. The film will premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York, which will take place from June 7 to 18.

The Tribeca Festival is an event founded by Robert De Niro, Jane Rosenthal, and Craig Hatkoff in 2001 to bring together artists and audiences to celebrate storytelling in all its forms. Adipurush is produced by T-Series Films and Retrophiles and is rumoured to have been made on a budget of Rs 500 crore.

The movie is expected to have a lot of visual effects and computer-generated imagery. The trailer was launched in Ayodhya in 2022. Fans are eagerly waiting for the release of the film and are excited to see how the story of Ramayan will be portrayed on the big screen.
