Kriti Sanon: I think I am humbler today, because I have had a very slow but steady growth – Times of India

As she’s short of a year before she marks her decade long run in Bollywood, Kriti Sanon is happy with the way her career has shaped. In her repertoire of nine years, the actress has had some really successful films to her credit including Bareilly Ki Barfi, Panipat, Mimi and Bhediya.
As she looks back at her journey, the actress says that there were times where she felt she deserved more. “There used to be times where I used to get restless, but I would feel like I deserved more than what I am getting. I wished I had some more opportunities. I wished I had certain filmmakers, who would give me that chance. I felt like I had a lot more to offer than what I was able to.”

Though she craved for more, Kriti feels that her steady growth helped her to stay grounded. She explains, “If I would have progressed really fast, then I don’t know if I would have been the way I am today. So, I am glad that it has all happened slowly and steadily and I didn’t really feel a jhatka, like a sudden change… like the world around me changed all of a sudden.”

The actress who’s now looking forward to her upcoming films like Adipurush, Ganapath and The Crew signs off saying, “I am glad that it all changed slowly and beautifully. I have evolved through these years and sort of found my own craft. I think I am a lot more humble and grateful today and have my head on my shoulders because of that. So, all this is there because it happened slowly and steadily for me.”
