The simple style was the perfect finishing touch for the actor’s understated black satin gown, along with a bejewelled silver clutch bag that complemented her sparkling drop earrings. Scott Thomas made her name playing upper-class brunettes in the late ’90s (who could forget Fiona in Four Weddings and a Funeral?), and more recently made quite the impression on Phoebe Waller-Bridge as businesswoman Belinda in season two of Fleabag. Now, the British star looks every bit as good having swapped her signature chocolate brown for a sleek silver-blonde bob.

Scott Thomas’s red-carpet cameo came at the end of a year in which grey hair has dominated beauty headlines.
