New York Knicks guard Josh Hart has had his availability rise from ‘doubtful’ to ‘questionable’ ahead of Tuesday’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Hart had been listed as ‘doubtful’ after Monday, when he reportedly sprained his ankle during Sunday’s Game 1 in the first round of the NBA Playoffs.
The New York Post reportedly saw Hart walking without a limp – where the guard told reporters that he was feeling ‘good’ after shootaround.
Hart was a key cog in the Knicks’ win in Game 1, putting up 17 points and ten rebounds – while also hitting a 3-pointer with under two minutes remaining to give New York the lead.
They kept that advantage and rode it all the way to a 101-97 victory on the road in Cleveland.

Hart was a major acquisition for the Knicks since being brought over from the Portland Trail Blazers before the trade deadline.
New York has won 18 of 26 games with Hart in the lineup – including two wins against the Cavaliers.
In the 25 regular season games played with the Knicks, Hart has averaged 10.2 points, seven rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game.
‘He’s real tough. It’s been exciting since he’s been here,’ Knicks center Isaiah Hartenstein said of Hart. ‘We feel like we have another guy that brings that physicality. Brings that toughness. So I’ve loved to play with him so far.’
Game 2 between the Knicks and Cavaliers tips off at 7:30pm ET on Tuesday night.
