According to the early estimates that came in on Friday, the film was off to a fair start at the box office, before the big Eid holiday. The huge buzz around the film has boosted opening day collections. Reports on boxofficeindia.com state that the film’s morning collections are actually the fourth best collections recorded post the pandemic. It now stands behind the Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Pathaan’, Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Brahmastra’ and Akshay Kumar’s ‘Sooryavanshi’.

As the day progresses, it remains to be seen if the film will live up to the hype and record among the highest first-day collections. According to reports, the film is expected to earn an opening day figure somewhere between Rs 15-20 crore. The collections should have been better, considering that the film is a Salman Khan starrer. Reports state that the actor comfortably gave films with over Rs 20 crore nett collections on Day 1 before the pandemic.
The film saw a slightly better run in some pockets and Nizam / Andhra. Reports state that the film’s collections may be hit as it is releasing a day before the Eid holiday. But, this hasn’t stopped trade gurus from predicting higher numbers for the first weekend.
Overall, the film has been met with mixed reviews from fans and critics. While some loved the action-packed family entertainer, others weren’t too impressed.
Directed by Farhad Samji, ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ also features veteran Telugu actor Venkatesh, Pooja Hegde, Jagapathi Babu, Bhumika Chawla, Vijender Singh, Raghav Juyal, Siddharth Nigam, Jassie Gill, Shehnaaz Gill, Palak Tiwari and Vinali Bhatnagar.
