For a visit to Lancashire with husband Prince William, where they spoke to staff and patients at the Clitheroe Community Hospital, the Duchess of Cambridge wrapped up in classic camel Massimo Dutti camel coat she has previously worn on trips to Kirkwall and Newham last year, and to visit a children’s center in Ely in January 2020.
Beneath her sleek longline coat, the Duchess kept warm in matching knitted separates from Iris & Ink—comprising of a a cosy turtleneck and ribbed-knit skirt—paired with heeled suede boots. She kept things low-key on the jewelry front with a pair of rhodochrosite charm earrings from Missoma, and added her Roma clutch bag from Métier London, a piece she’s been spotted with on several occasions in the past.
The royal outing took an unexpectedly heart-warming turn when Kate and William met the community hospital’s therapy dog, Alfie. The fuzzy cockapoo happened to match Kate’s tonal outfit – something that didn’t escape her notice. (She reportedly exclaimed: “You match my coat!”)
Kate has made a stylish return to work following the release of her 40th birthday portraits (she celebrated the milestone on January 9). Earlier this week, she and William paid a visit to the Foundling Museum where the Duchess delivered her usual polish – with the help of high-street brands including Accessorize and Jigsaw – in a fitted blue coat and tailored belted trousers.
