Kartik Aaryan reveals he considers ‘Sonu ke Titu Ki Sweety’ as his launch film; says it gave him entry into the industry as a hero – Times of India
In an interview with a news portal, Kartik shared that he was in college when he did ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’. According to him, he was totally raw and was trying to figure out how the industry functioned. The actor added that he understood there is more to films than acting and that he figured out much later in life.
He further added that it took him 4-5 years to get noticed. He recalled that people didn’t even know his name. They used to call him with different names like ‘guy who says monologues’ and all. Kartik considers ‘Sony Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ as his launch film, which gave him the entry as a hero, he told Pinkvilla.
Talking about his journey so far, Kartik stated that things just went on, with the back-to-back projects. For him, it has been a learning process. According to him, what he has understood in all these years is that it is not rocket science, it is more of common sense.
On the work front, his film, ‘Freddy’ released on an OTT platform today. It also stars Alaya F in a lead role. Apart from this, Kartik has films like, ‘Shehzada’, ‘Aashiqui 3’, ‘Captain India’, ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ and Kabir Khan’s untitled next in his pipeline.
