India has registered its largest ever medal haul in the history of Paralympic Games finishing with an astonishing five gold, eight silver and six bronze medals in Tokyo. Congratulatory messages have been pouring in from all across the country. Bollywood celebs, too, hailed the Paralympians extraordinary achievement with a total of 19 medals.

As India went past its earlier best tally of four medals at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Paralympics Kareena Kapoor Khan took to her Instagram story to congratulate all the winners. Sharing a collage of the medal winners she wrote, “Bravo Team India – such a remarkable achievement. Congratulations to all the winners.”
