Filmmaker Karan Johar’s twins Yash and Roohi turned 6 recently. To mark the occasion, the director posted a video from the birthday party that was organised for the two on February 1. The Johars, including the twins, Karan and his mom Hiroo were seen dressed in black, twinning in Mickey Mouse sweatshirts, having a ball at the party.

The outdoor party was replete with songs, dance and swings. The guest list included Neha Dhupia-Angad Bedi’s kids, Inaaya Naumi Kemmu, Farah Khan and her triplets amongst many others.

Sharing a video of the same, Karan wrote, “Precious Pieces of my heart turn 6 today… this love is difficult to describe but it feels like a burst of so much love that every other emotion takes a back seat! I am blessed to have mother with me on this parental journey! God knows I would be nowhere without her… she’s the pillar all 3 of us lean on! Happy birthday Roohi and Yash! Be anything you want to be but please Always be kind… dada loves you to the moon and back!”

Soon after the video, friends of Karan took to the comments section to wish the siblings. Farah Khan wrote, “What a party! N donald duck touching my feet was the cherry on the birthday cake.” Bhumi Pednekar exclaimed, “Happy birthday cuties.” On the other hand, Amrita Arora wrote, “happy happy birthday darling Roohi and Yash.” Sanjay Kapoor commented “Happy birthday Roohi and yash.”

On the workfront, the Karan Johar directed Rocky Aur Rani ki Prem Kahani will now hit the theatres on July 28 this year, as recently announced by the filmmaker. The romantic drama stars Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in lead roles.
