Karan Johar drops picture with Rani Mukerji ahead of ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ teaser launch – here’s what he has to say! | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Karan Johar took to social media today to announce that he’s set to launch the teaser of his next directorial, ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ soon. The filmmaker wrote, “After 7 years… back in the directors chair…I am excited , nervous and yet so happy to begin the last lap of our prem kahani…Watch this space for the teaser ….coming super soon with all our love to you ….#rockyaurranikiipremkahaani”.

While fans await the teaser of this Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt starrer, Karan has now left people more in anticipation. Karan shared a lovely picture with Rani Mukerji and said, “Rani Mukerji are you ready for Rani Chatterjee? #RockyAurRaniKiiPremKahaani”

KJO RANI

Rani looks beautiful in a light blue dress with sunglasses and red lips while Karan is stylish as always!
Interestingly, the name of Alia’s character in the film is Rani Chatterjee and Rani had played Mrs Chatterjee in her last movie ‘Mr and Mrs Chatterjee’. However, fans wonder if Rani would have a cameo in KJo’s next directorial. Karan and Rani share a long association with each other. He had hosted an event for ‘Mr and Mrs Chatterjee’ and said he owed it to Rani as she took up ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ when all the other actresses had rejected that role.
Rani and Karan had then collaborated for ‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna’ while the actress had a cameo in ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’. We wonder if there’s something brewing for his next film too.
Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani also stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi. The film is set to release on July 28.
