On Tuesday night, the music label took to Instagram and shared a poster of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai along with the announcement that Tujhe Yaad Na Meri Aayee remix will drop soon.Karan also shared the news on his Instagram Stories and called the song a ‘Version 2.0.’

It has been revealed that the remix version will be sung by B Praak and Jaani. Praak shared the post with the caption, “They say “If you dream with all your heart , the dream starts manifesting and they do come true I am thrilled to announce that I got the HONOUR to sing for one and only @iamsrk , sir And @kajol #ranimukherjee i hope you like Our efforts My only dream to sing and recreate this magical song in our style.”
He also revealed that he had requested Karan to remix the track. “Thank you @karanjohar for accepting my request And Trusting us That We Can Do Justice To Your Magical Song!!!The Best No 1 lyricist @jaani777 You Killed It. And Biggest Thanks To @azeemdayani For Always Supporting Our Efforts,” he wrote, hinting that there will be a few changes to the song.
As soon as the announcement was shared on social media, likes and comments poured in from all sides. While one user wrote, ‘This is gonna bring back so many memories!’, another one added, ‘We did not need this!’ A fan also commented, ‘Nothing can beat the original, but B Praak’s voice for tujhe yaad will be something to look forward to’.
Tujhe Yaad Na Meri Aayee was originally sung by Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik and Manpreet Akhtar. The song continues to be one of the most popular heartbreak songs.
