After seven successful seasons, Koffee with Karan is back for its 8th Season and it seems it is going to be bigger and better than the last one. For starters this one is going to feature Shah Rukh Khan himself. Last year was the first time in seven seasons that SRK couldn’t make it to the show.

According to a report on Bollywood Hungama, Karan Johar has begun preparing for the next season of his popular talk show, which is expected to go on air in August or September this year.

The report also suggests that the show is going to include both new and familiar faces, with SRK appearing in the first episode to discuss the massive success of Pathaan.

Also this time around there is going to be a strong push for actors from the South Indian Film industry as names like Yash from KGF, Allu Arjun from Pushpa and Rishab Shetty from Kantara, along with their respective partners, have been invited by Karan Johar. There will be new segments and changes in the decor as well, suggests the report.

On the work front, Karan Johar is also set to return as a director with Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani after a gap of seven years. The film stars an ensemble cast of Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi. The film is set to release in theaters on July 28.
