Karan Deol says Bobby Deol motivated him to not give up after the debacle of his debut movie by citing his own example – Times of India

Dharmendra’s grandson Karan Deol, who made his big Bollywood debut with father Sunny Deols’s directorial, ‘Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas’, recently opened up about how his uncle Bobby Deol motivated him when the film tanked at the box-office.

In a recent interview with an RJ, Karan revealed that when the film flopped, Bobby came to him motivated him by citing his own example. Bobby told him that despite having the biggest start to his career and many hits to his credit, he did not get work for three years.

Elaborating further, Bobby told his nephew that after three years he is back in his groove. He believes that he has got re-launched in the industry.

Karan will be seen joining Dharmendra, Sunny and Bobby Deol in Anil Sharma’s ‘Apne 2’. He was last seen in the 2021 film ‘Velle’. The film also starred uncle Abhay Deol. The crime-comedy film, produced by Ajay Devgn, also starred Mouni Roy, Anya Singh, Savant Singh Premi, and Visshesh Tiwari in key roles.

Bobby, on the other hand, has an interesting line-up of films in his pipeline. He was last seen in ‘Love Hostel’ that was released on an OTT platform. It also stars Sanya Malhotra and Vikrant Massey in lead roles.

Apart from this, Bobby has also been roped in for Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role along with Anil Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra. Bobby also has ‘Aashram 3’ in his kitty.
