Kalki Koechlin Calls Her 38th Birthday Cake A ‘Work Of Art’ – See Pic

Birthday celebration and birthday cakes go hand-in-hand. In fact, cutting cakes on special days have become ritual for most of us. It was no different for Bollywood actor Kalki Koechlin. The versatile actor has just turned 38, on January 10, 2022 (Monday). And to mark her special day, Kalki had a cake that included all things artistic and vibrant. The ‘Margarita With A Straw’ actor shared a story on Instagram featuring her with the beautiful birthday cake. As per the story, it was a green-cloured cake that had wild flower texture all over it. This unique and quirky cake was sent over by pastry chef Somritaa Nandy. Appreciating the beautiful cake, Kalki wrote, “Your cakes are a work of art @somritaanandy”. Take a look:

Much artistic; isn’t it? If you thought Kalki Koechlin’s birthday celebration featured just a cake, then you might be wrong here. Throughout the day, she uploaded stories giving us sneak peeks into her birthday celebrations. With strict Covid restrictions across the country, Kalki had a low-key birthday at home with partner Guy Hershberg and daughter Sappho.

As per her stories, Kalki’s birthday morning started with a delicious pancake with blueberries on the top. She captioned the picture, “Birthday berries”. The next story featured a rustic earthen cup in which she seemed to enjoy her cup of coffee or chai. Take a look:

That’s not all. Kalki also shared images of all the gifts she received from her friends, family and fans. One gift that stole our heart was by her close friend and actor Sayani Gupta. The ‘Four More Shots Please!’ actor sent Kalki a delicious strawberry cream cake and it seems the latter’s daughter Sappho enjoyed it to the core. Sharing picture of the little one enjoying the dessert, Kalki wrote, “And @sayanigupta I think you found the way to her heart #strawberriesandcream”.
