Director Vignesh Shivan’s latest ‘Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal’ released on April 28, and it featured Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara and Samantha. The story of the film focussed on a triangular love story between the three lead roles – Rambo, Kanmani and Khatija.

With the movie making its digital premiere today on OTT, May 27, the final box office collection of the movie is reportedly out. The movie is reportedly said to have made a total box office collection of Rs 70 crore globally. Reports state that the movie earned more than Rs 45 crore gross amount from Tamil Nadu.

It is also stated that the film turned out to be a profitable venture for the movie makers. The film has become a commercial in Kollywood this year. In other news, with Anirudh’s music, the film’s songs still stay on top of the trending list.

Actress Nayanthara is awaiting the release of her film ‘O2’ which will directly premiere on OTT and Samantha is currently shooting for her film ‘Kushi’ with Vijay Devarakonda. Actor Vijay Sethupathy is awaiting the release of his film ‘Vikram’ directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. He shares the screen space in the film with Kamal Haasan and Fahadh Faasil.
