For her appearance at the Diesel spring 2023 show in Milan, Fox arrived in a major drip-drip. The actor, model, and muse wore a blue leather jacket paired with a matching mini skirt. Completing the look was her slick hair that featured streaks of blue throughout. It was an unexpected pop of color from the star, who typically favors all black.
The outfit is a rare example that calming colors can be a central part of a punk look. Fox has made the vampy dominatrix vibe her signature, and has a closet full of low-rise trousers and leather to prove it. This head-to-toe blue ensemble isn’t a total break—it’s still tight, short, and bait for the paparazzi—but if she can make color feel “downtown” maybe the rest of us can too? Okay, probably not. Fox certainly is serving it up for the paparazzi while in Milan. Perhaps Fox is drawing inspiration from the monochromatic outfits filling the runways. Fendi and Coach recently showed off chic spins on typically risky shades of purple, blue, and orange during New York Fashion Week. Either way, the Uncut Gems actor is certainly leaning into viral trends: her major mini feels similar to the popular Miu Miu micro skirt from earlier this year.
