‘Jugjugg Jeeyo´ day 1 box office collection early estimate: Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani’s family drama earns Rs 8.50 crore – Times of India

According to the early estimate, ‘Jugjugg Jeeyo´ is expected to collect around Rs 8.50 crore, reports boxofficeindia. Had the movie earned better collections in the mass pockets, the opening day figure could have been closer to 10 crore nett plus. The present trend suggests that ‘Jugjugg Jeeyo´ could have a good run ahead with the major cities contributing the most. Interestingly, the overseas opening day collection of ‘Jugjugg Jeeyo´ has managed to beat ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’, in circuits like UK and Gulf. The film may achieve the $2 million weekend figure.

Speaking about the success of ‘Jugjugg Jeeyo´ at the box office, Varun had recently told IANS, “Look, honestly speaking, no matter how much we guess, analyse and predict the fate of a film, at the end of the day, there is no formula and no one knows what works at the box office. And we have seen that in recent times. Post the pandemic, things have changed but the only unchanged factor is people still love going to the theatre and watch a film that is entertaining.”
