‘Jugjugg Jeeyo’ box office collection day 4: Varun Dhawan-Kiara Advani starrer records a drop of over 50 per cent – Times of India

The movie managed to hold onto Monday with a drop of over 50 per cent. After a good first weekend, ‘Jugjugg Jeeyo’ is doing average business and added Rs 4.50 crore to its collection on day four, reports Boxofficeindia. East Punjab, CI and Rajasthan circuits are expected to record a drop of nearly 40-45 per cent. It seemed like the theatres in Gujarat would continue with a positive trend on Monday, but ‘Jugjugg Jeeyo’ recorded a drop in the range of 50 per cent there too. At the end of four days ‘Jugjugg Jeeyo’ had earned a total of Rs 39.50 crore nett and by the end of its first weekend, the film is expected to rake in around Rs 51 crore nett.

Speaking about the importance of box office number, Anil Kapoor had told ETimes, “I’m not into it now. I was into it earlier but now I leave it to the producers, filmmakers and directors. I just do my best and deliver whatever I promised. Whatever I bring to the table, I try my best to give them much more than what they really expected from me. So I think that’s been my thing for the last 15 years, or earlier also, but now more. Jitna unko chahiye, main koshish karta hoon uss se zyada de sakun so that the producers, directors, actors are happy to work with me.”
