JSW Steel Q2 profit grows over four-fold to Rs7,179 cr

New Delhi: JSW Steel on Thursday posted an over four-fold jump in its consolidated net profit to Rs 7,179 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, mainly driven by higher income. Its total income in the quarter under review soared to Rs 33,449 crore from Rs 19,416 crore in the year-ago period. PTI

Subscription to sovereign gold bond from October 25

The next tranche of Sovereign Gold Bonds 2021-22 will be open for subscription for five days from October 25, the Finance Ministry said on Thursday. The bonds under the 2021-22 series will be issued in four tranches during October 2021-March 2022, taking the total to 10. PTI
